Use of Product Images
Sapienza Design takes pride in showcasing the craftsmanship of our custom, made-to-order woodwork. By commissioning a piece from us, you acknowledge that all images of the finished products, including personalized items featuring names, logos, or other identifiers, become the exclusive property of Sapienza Design. We may use, share, and publish these images across our website, social media, marketing materials, and other promotional platforms without further permission or compensation. We are committed to using these images respectfully to highlight the artistry and quality of our work.
Colors and Appearance
We strive to display our products as accurately as possible. However, variations in color, texture, and grain are natural in wood and stone and should not be considered defects.
Order Acceptance and Cancellation
Order Process
To place an order, customers must complete the Inquiry Form available at https://www.sapienzadesign.com/contact. Upon submission, we will provide a detailed quote outlining the cost, estimated timeline, and other relevant details.
Payment Terms
A 50% deposit is required to confirm an order and commence work. Full payment is due upon delivery. Work will not begin until the deposit is received.
Cancellation Policy
Once an order is in progress, it cannot be canceled. No refunds will be issued after work has begun, as each piece is custom-made, and resources are allocated accordingly.
Modifications to Orders
Customers may request changes after production has begun, subject to feasibility and at Sapienza Design’s discretion. Additional costs and extended timelines may apply. Customers will receive a revised quote detailing any adjustments, which must be approved and paid before changes are implemented.
Right to Refuse Service
Sapienza Design reserves the right to decline service or cancel orders at its discretion. If we cancel an order before production starts, a full refund will be issued.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for all shipping costs, which will be determined based on the final product’s size and weight. A shipping quote will be provided, which must be approved and paid before dispatch.
Carriers and Delivery
We use reputable carriers, selected based on shipment size, weight, and destination. Customers will be informed of the selected carrier once the order is ready for dispatch.
Shipping Restrictions
Due to the custom nature of our products, certain items may be subject to shipping restrictions, which will be communicated during order confirmation.
Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery estimates will be provided but are subject to carrier delays, weather conditions, and customs clearance for international shipments.
Lost or Damaged Shipments
Sapienza Design is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. Ownership transfers to the customer once the order is handed over to the carrier. Customers are encouraged to purchase shipping insurance. If desired, insurance must be arranged directly with the carrier or through a third-party provider. We will provide necessary documentation for insurance claims.
Tracking and Receipt
Customers will receive a tracking number upon dispatch. We recommend inspecting shipments upon arrival and reporting any issues directly to the carrier as per their claim policies.
Return and Refund Policy
All Sales Are Final
Due to the custom nature of our work, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or offer refunds once production has commenced.
Quality Guarantee
While returns are not accepted, we stand by the quality of our craftsmanship. If your order arrives with a defect in workmanship or materials, contact us within 5 days at contact@sapienzadesign.com with photos and a description of the issue. We will assess the situation and determine whether a repair or replacement is appropriate.
Shipping Damage
As noted in our Shipping Policy, we are not responsible for shipping-related damage. Customers should document any shipping damage and file a claim with the carrier immediately.
Order Cancellation Before Production
If you need to cancel an order before production begins, contact us immediately. If cancellation is approved, a full or partial refund may be issued at our discretion.

We work closely with our clients throughout the design and quotation process to ensure all specifications are met. Open communication is encouraged to guarantee satisfaction with the final product.
